Vitamin E (tocopherol)
Is the principal lipophilic antioxidant in the skin and is found in all its layers. It protects the skin against the damage caused by the action of free radicals and consequently has a powerful anti-ageing effect. It also protects the lipids and lipoproteins of cell membranes against oxidation and preserves their capacity to bind moisture.
